Rosa damascena blooms in Bulgaria’s Valley of Roses for barely three weeks a year. Everything about it is inefficient, and the result is one of the most beautiful things in the world.

The Rose Edition mug carries the same botanical lockup as the notebook — the roses, the paw-and-nib mark, the gold keylines — wrapped the whole way round on cream, with a soft pink rim, interior and handle.
